Peter Georgi who for 13 years was the Santa Claus in Berlin’s KaDeWe department store has been told he is being replaced. Four weeks before Christmas the store stated that Santa Claus is allowed to go into well-deserved retirement. There is currently an online petition calling for his reinstatement.
