An SUV that went airborne and sailed into the roof of George Strother’s home in Escondido, California. Police said the driver lost control while turning and went off the road and plunged through the garage roof of a home that sits about 20 feet below the road. Strother said the car landed on the hood of his Nissan Pathfinder in the garage and knocked the ceiling down on another car. Neither he nor his wife, or the driver of the car, were hurt.
